Averil Andrews


Averil has experience litigating in both Florida and California. She has handled matters in various industries and legal fields, including commercial and business litigation, international arbitration, securities fraud, entertainment & sports law, corporate disputes, copyright, trademark, and legal malpractice. Averil has notable trial experience, serving as second chair in a federal diversity trial involving breach of contract and business tort claims and in a state court bench trial for a breach of lease agreement.

Averil graduated cum laude from the University of Miami in 2013. While in law school, she was the Research and Writing Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review and was a member of the International Moot Court Program, where she competed in the Universidad de Buenos Aires Commercial Arbitration Moot entirely in Spanish. As a law student, Averil also interned with the Honorable Judge Kenneth L. Ryskamp in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Averil is a Virginia native. She loves to be outside and enjoys hiking, scuba, yoga and cooking. Prior to law school, Averil was an English teacher in Malaga, Spain. She was also a criminal and immigration law paralegal in Washington, D.C.
