Biography

Mark has extensive experience representing both entities and individuals in numerous, diverse corporate and commercial matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, partnering and joint venture transactions, securities and financing transactions, secured lending matters (including transactions involving Eximbank), and technology-centered transactions such as licensing and distribution arrangements, and e-commerce transactions. He has broad international experience, after studying International and Comparative Law in Brussels, Belgium and practicing for almost five years in São Paulo, Brazil.

Prior to joining DGRW, Mark practiced with Shutts & Bowen LLP for over 11 years. While Mark was at the Florida State University School of Law, he was the managing editor of the school’s Journal of Transnational Law and Policy.

• Advises clients in the drafting, negotiation, and closing of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including asset and stock sales and purchases.

• Represents financial institutions in secured and syndicated loan transactions.
• Represents domestic clients in their establishment of offshore operations.
• Represents clients in the drafting, negotiation, and closing of domestic and cross-border distributorship and licensing arrangements.
